Environmental Technical Services (ETS) began operation in Southern Oregon during the summer of 2002. Locally owned and based in Medford Oregon, ETS currently serves clients throughout the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Northern California.
Our highly qualified team here at ETS can provide over 75 combined years of emissions testing experience including QSTI, CARB, IATA, OSHA and EPA certified individuals. Our employees have extensive experience testing throughout the United States across a wide variety of source categories, from asphalt plants to wood products, boilers to paper mills, and energy production to the petroleum industry.
Our testing staff provides only the highest quality of industrial stack testing and reporting to our clients. Using our fully equipped Mobile Instrument Trailer systems, in tandem or independently, we are able to travel anywhere in the United States or Canada (including Alaska) to meet your stack testing needs. Our office staff is here to provide accurate written reports, with quick turn around.
Your referral is what keeps us going strong.
Environmental Technical Services is equipped with two (2) Mobile Continuous Emission Monitoring Laboratories. Each system is computerized, allowing complete automation of the testing process. Our system allows for real time data reporting, along with the ability to provide on-site results.
The mobile laboratory allows us to offer On-Site Analysis for: Volume Flow Rates, Particulate Matter, Combustion Gas Tune-up, Criteria Gaseous Emissions, and Formaldehyde.
ETS has the ability to mobilize multiple test teams and mobile test trailers capable of performing wet chemistry and gaseous sampling methods 3A, 6C, 7E, 10, 18, and 25A. Our wet chemistry equipment includes High and Low flow sampling consoles, standard and midget impingers, and sampling probes that accept various liners, thus, allowing for adaptation to any test method. We also have extensive indoor and ambient sampling experience. In addition, our mobile test laboratory has the capability of providing on-site analysis of Ammonia (NH3), Mercury (Hg) under Performance Spec 12A using EPA 30b sorbent traps, and gravimetric weighing’s.
On June 6, 2014, ETS received CARB Executive Order I-14-017, issuing the company and in-house laboratory CARB certification for performance tests using CARB Methods 1-5 and 100 (O2, CO2, CO, SO2, and THC).
ETS provides quality testing in accordance with ASTM D7036-12.
Environmental Technical Services operates the only certified air laboratory in Southern Oregon. All of our equipment and procedures are audited and checked through an independent third party Laboratory QA/QC program. We are also audited and certified under the California Air Resources Board Independent Contractor Program.
Analytical laboratory services include:
- Titrimetric analysis: SO2, SO3, H2S, HCL
- ISE analysis for NH3, F-, Na
- Fuel Analysis
- Condensable Organics
The ETS Gravimetric Laboratory area is carefully climate controlled to 70oF and 45% relative humidity. Analytical balances (OHAUS Voyager pro) are independently audited and services by a certified third party.
